About Me
Born 1990 in London, United Kingdom.
My childhood was one spent in the depths of Norfolk surrounded by horses and dogs and growing up with an enduring love for nature.
My academic journey led me to earn degrees in Fine Art and Psychology, after which I ventured into the bustling world of advertising in London, working as a TV producer. Despite finding success in my career, I couldn’t shake off the longing for the tranquil landscapes and rich wildlife of Norfolk. This longing prompted me to make a significant life change in 2020, moving back to focus on my true passion: painting and drawing. Since then I have been in multiple exhibitions, both mixed and solo, and have completed many commissions for very happy clients (including one for actor Tom Hardy!).
A lifelong relationship with animals informs and inspires me. I aim to capture their reality, character, strength & vulnerability revealing intimate moments in their lives free from human imperfections.
I am especially passionate about horses and often quote the words of Ronald Duncan: “Where in this wide world can a person find nobility without pride, friendship without envy or beauty without vanity? Here, where grace is laced with muscle and strength by gentleness confined … There is nothing so powerful, nothing less violent, there is nothing so quick, nothing more patient.”
I strive to exemplify these qualities in my paintings and drawings, and hope my deep understanding and knowledge of horses helps to imbue my work with authenticity and power.

CONTEMPORARY AND COUNTRY
Exhibition held in the old stables at Houghton Hall, Norfolk.
“(C&C) present contemporary art and applied art by artists and makers based in East Anglia who celebrate our rural surroundings. C&C's Pop-Up exhibitions frequently forego the art gallery setting, opting for architecturally interesting spaces that encourage visitors to engage with art. The artists and makers C&C work with live and work in the countryside, towns and villages throughout the east of England. Through their work they bring about a closer understanding of the countryside, encouraging greater consideration for nature, as its appreciation and preservation becomes ever more prescient to our time.”
